Alamo Title Company

The Alamo

The predecessor to Alamo Title Company, Alamo Abstract and Title Company, was formed in 1922 in San Antonio, Texas. For 70 years, Alamo Title wrote title insurance exclusively in Texas while reinsuring transactions throughout the United States. In 1993, Alamo Title expanded into New Mexico.

In 1998, Alamo Title Company merged with Fidelity National Financial (NYSE symbol FNF) placing Alamo Title in a family of title companies that constitutes one of the largest title companies in the United States. Through our vast network, we are able to obtain title information in virtually every state in the nation.

Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.

Did you know...

One of America ’s major airports - Chicago ’s O’Hare Field - was named after a man who shot down airplanes. O’Hare Field was named for Edward O’Hare. In a famous battle in the Pacific in World War II, O’Hare was flying his plane when he found himself alone in the air as six enemy aircraft appeared. He shot down all six, one at a time, and became a hero. After the war, Chicago named its airport for O’Hare.
