Tom McGaughy, Vice President - Commercial Marketing. Tom is a native of San Antonio and attended The University of Texas at Austin where he received his business degree with a double major in (i) General Business/Real Estate Concentration and (ii) Petroleum Land Management. He became a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker in 1979, and over the next ten years managed the land departments of two independent oil companies located in San Antonio, handling both oil & gas and real estate transactions. In 1990, Tom joined Perron & Company as an associate broker, handling all types of commercial and ranch transactions.

From 1993 to 2001, he served as Senior Vice President responsible for originating and developing the San Antonio-South/Central Texas office for two regional finance companies, and in 2001 founded his own financial consulting firm. Prior to joining Alamo Title in 2005, Tom was Vice President/Senior Relationship Manager with a regional banking institution. He is the current Chairman of the Planning & Zoning Commission for the City of Alamo Heights.
